The mandatory orientation session for the Young Scholars Program is Sunday, July 13, 2008.

Overview Session

All students check-in and:

  • Receive University ID and Orientation Folder
  • Turn-in all required forms

  • Information about the 3-week program
  • Question & Answer period

Campus Tour

This is a 30-45 minute walking tour about the campus. There are two tours; we ask that commuter students attend the first tour. The tour is not mandatory.

Residential Students’ Check-In Session

  • Residential students receive meal cards, room keys, dorm assignments, and a parking permit (if desired); after taking the campus tour, residential students may move into their dorm rooms.
    • Please Note: Do not bring your move-in items with you to orientation. You will have to drive to the dorm for the acutal move-in.
  • Commuter students receive meal cards and a parking permit .

Commuter Students’ Meet & Greet

Commuter students have the opportunity to meet each other, exchange information, and set-up carpools, if desired.
